So on Friday I shot some footage for my media trailer. The brief is to make a coming of age trailer shorter than 2 minutes with accompanying posters. I can tell already that the time limit will cause me some grief but so far I'm positive. The shoot went well considering I had to organise 7 teenagers (mess around all you want heathens, your fun is my B-roll) and I got some pretty footage. Let's hope the shoots with my principle actors go equally well. In other news, I found an entire films worth of footage I thought I dropped at the Edinburgh Fringe so that's good. I'd sort of given up on it but looking at it I'm glad I get to finish it now. Back up your work kids- Filoman Woman

So I guess I'll start as I mean to go on: informally and offering no explanation. I've just finished shooting on my four year long passion project 'Spydad'. It's odd how easy it was considering how long we had to wait. It was a lot of fun, and the camera work is better than on any of my previous films. Onwards and upwards. Right now, I'm starting Year 13 and planning for my coursework film is well underway. It may be overly planned but since it's the only film I can work on full time this year, I want to make it count. I wrote script over summer and now have actors and need to plan shooting days. Chuffed. So far, this blog post sounds like a report to my teacher, but that's probably because my media teacher doesn't ask for this much work or detail. My promises of informality was false. I'm sorry, hypothetical reader, I've let you down. I'm sure my sparkling personality and unshakable honesty will be more evident NEXT TIME ON- the filoman woman
